CrewBoard Pro is a job tracking and crew management software service operated from Greenfield, Indiana. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our website at crewboardpro.com or our application.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the CrewBoard Pro service
• Set up and configure your account and app deployment
• Send automated morning report emails and monthly backup emails
• Respond to your support requests and questions
• Process subscription payments and send billing receipts
• Improve the website and application based on usage patterns
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your information for advertising, sell it to third parties, or share it with data brokers.

4. Your Job Data

The job records, employee names, activity logs, and archives you create in CrewBoard Pro are your data. We store it in a dedicated Google Firebase Realtime Database assigned exclusively to your company. No other CrewBoard client can access your database.

We access your data only when necessary to provide support, troubleshoot issues, or perform maintenance — and only with your knowledge.

We do not analyze, mine, or use your job data for any purpose other than running the service for you.

5. Third-Party Services We Use

CrewBoard Pro is built on and integrates with the following third-party services:

• Google Firebase — database hosting and real-time sync. Your data is stored in Google's infrastructure under Google's security standards. Firebase Privacy
• Netlify — website and app hosting. Netlify Privacy
• Google Analytics — website usage analytics. Data is anonymized and aggregated. We have IP anonymization enabled. Google Privacy
• Formspree — contact form processing. Submissions are forwarded to our email. Formspree Privacy
• Stripe — payment processing. We never see or store your full credit card number. Stripe Privacy
• Google Workspace / Gmail — email communication and automated reports.

6. Cookies and Tracking

Our website uses cookies placed by Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. These cookies collect anonymous, aggregated data — they do not identify you personally.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or by using your browser's "Do Not Track" setting.

The CrewBoard app itself does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

7. Data Retention

• Active accounts: Data is retained for the life of your subscription
• Cancelled accounts: Data is retained for 60 days after cancellation, then permanently deleted unless you request an export first
• Trial accounts: Data is retained for 60 days after trial expiration
• Contact form submissions: Retained in email for as long as necessary to respond and follow up
• Analytics data: Retained per Google Analytics' default retention settings (14 months)

8. Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your data including:

• All data transmitted over HTTPS (SSL/TLS encryption)
• Firebase database access controlled by authentication secrets
• Each client has a completely isolated database — no shared storage
• Monthly encrypted backups delivered directly to your email

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Rights

Regardless of where you are located, you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of all data we hold about you or your company
• Export — receive your full job data as a JSON file at any time
• Correction — request correction of inaccurate information
• Deletion — request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Opt-out — opt out of non-essential communications at any time

10. Children's Privacy

CrewBoard Pro is a business-to-business service intended for adults operating field service companies. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have collected information from a minor, we will delete it promptly.

11. Indiana and Interstate Compliance

CrewBoard Pro is operated from Greenfield, Indiana and complies with applicable Indiana privacy laws. We serve clients across the United States and make reasonable efforts to honor applicable state privacy rights regardless of where our clients are located.

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Contact us to exercise those rights.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and notify active subscribers by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
